as the original, but we might be telling the truth.

Faith of our fathers! living still 
	In spite of dungeon, fire, and sword
Is now hooked up to life support
	In the world's emergency ward
Faith of our father's, wholly faith
	You can't expect the same from me

Faith of our fathers! God's great power
	Shall win all nations unto thee
But if the truth should ever be known
	God cannot depend upon me
Faith of our fathers wholly faith
	We will be true as long as we can

Faith of our fathers! We will love
	Both friend and foe as seen on our TV
And preach thee, too, as we know how
	By paying folk to replace me
Faith of our fathers Holy faith
	We will be true for a little while.
